Early Childhood Teacher
Timi Mathai graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelors in English Literature and Women and Gender Studies. She started babysitting when she was sixteen and it brought her great joy. After college she knew working with children was something she wanted to pursue. She loves their fun spirit, spontaneity and creativity they bring. She is currently back at Hunter College, School of Education getting her Masters in Early Childhood Education.
In her free time, she loves to be outside- whether it is reading, painting or hiking. Timi is very excited to be a part of Discovery Programs. She hopes to bring her love of books and art to the children in her classes.
