costumes & cartwheels (GDAT)
Elementary age students make the most of Discovery’s large gymnasium
and theater spaces – not to mention its talented gymnastics and acting
coaches! – Costumes & Cartwheels provides summer afternoons that
are creative, social and athletic all in one. As a class, children compose
and perform their own play, complete with costumes and stage sets, and even
travel to an outside children’s
theater performance.
They perfect gymnastics skills and incorporate these into group performance
routines. In between, they let loose with outdoor roof play and imaginative
games and art. Children between the ages of 5- and 10-years-old who are
looking for an exciting, fun-filled summer need look no further!
