Passion to Dance
This is an introduction to various dance genres such as: modern, jazz, primitive, spanish, and much more. We will explain the importance of music, introduce rhythms, identify the mood that the music presents.
Students interested in choreography will bring music of their choice, recordings of about three minutes in length, and they will choose the number of dancers for their piece.
We will work on the project as a team, share ideas, create duets, trios, and both small and large group dances.
There will be a presentation of the students creations.
Please note: All dance students ages 3-12, participate in our annual Nutcracker recital and have the thrill of performing on stage for their families and friends. View the required dance attire and guidelines for the performance.
