Discovery is now available to host fun and exciting birthday parties for children. Let your child invite his or her friends to experience their birthday in a special and meaningful way. We offer Young Samurai, Magical Ballet Soirees, Fancy Shmancy Parties and Gymnastic Parties all conducted by popular Discovery teachers. gymnastic parties

Gymnastic parties in our beautiful, well-equipped and spacious gymnasium include a party host and at least 2 gymnastic coach specialists. The maximum number of children is 24.

Ages 5 -12 : 1 coach to every 8 children
Ages 4 and under: 1 coach to every 6 children
*All 2 years olds must be accompanied in the gym class by an adult

Gym parties include one hour of gym time fun and games and a half-hour for refreshments.

pre-ballet parties

Pre-Ballet parties in our large auditorium include a delightful one hour pre-ballet class and 30 minutes for refreshments. We provide a party host and the class is led by one of our popular ballet teachers and includes at least 1 teacher’s assistant.

Ages 2-3*: 1 teacher and assistant for up to 10 children
*All 2 years olds must be accompanied in class by an adult.
11-16 children: 2 assistants
17-20 children: 3 assistants

Ages 4 and over: 1 teacher and assistant up to 16 children
17-20 children: 2 assistants (max. number of children is 20).

Children may wear leotards, tutus, ballet shoes shorts & a t-shirt or normal streetwear.

Fridays - 1½ Hour Parties - $595.** for up to 10 children
$20. for each additional child
2- Hour Parties - $795.** for up to 10 children

Sundays - 1½ Hour Parties - $595.** for up to 10 children

2 - Hour Parties - $825.** for up to 10 children
$25. for each additional child

A non-refundable $300 deposit reserves your party date. We accept Visa or Mastercard.

you bring

Parent provides all food, cake, ice, beverages, decorations and any other party goods.
All non-perishable items may be dropped off one day prior to the party (Friday for Sunday parties) so that our staff can set up the party room in advance.

All food brought into the building must be kosher. We can provide you with a list of local kosher pizza delivery, bakeries and other catering options by request. (Please note that we recommend foods that won’t perish easily, as there is no access to refrigeration.)

The schedule for available party times changes from one semester to the other. Generally Friday afternoons from 11:30- 4:30 are available for Gymnastic Parties and Sundays from 12- 5pm are available for PreBallet and Gymnastic Parties. Call us at 212-749-8717 for additional current schedule options.
