NUTCRACKER SUITE RECITAL

Sunday, December 7th

Back by popular demand, our annual production of the Nutcracker Suite. Boys and girls, in our dance and gymnastic programs, ages 3-12, are invited to participate in the production together with professional guest soloists. The $85 performance fee includes two
audience tickets for all children participating in the production. Additional tickets are available at $10 each. (Limit of 4 per family total). The children are costumed for the performance only in special Nutcracker costumes.

MAKING MUSIC WITH THE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA OF THE AMERICAS

FEE $400/8 WEEK SESSION
OCTOBER 27- DECEMBER 15, 2008

The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas’ Arts & Education Program engages young listeners and exposes them to the orchestral music of the Americas. Through a dynamic combination of various ensemble performances, led by renowned educator Justin Hines with the involvement of students, the 8-session program builds on itself after each visit, teaching children harmony, the orchestra’s various instrument families and music composition skills. The program culminates in a public concert by the full orchestra performing works composed by the children; they witness their creations coming to life while experiencing the magic of a live orchestral performance!
