Loretta Daley - Music instructor
Loretta
Daley, for the past five years, has concentrated her work in the area of
music with young children. Coming from 5 years as an assistant teacher at
PS 9, Loretta previously taught at a Pre - School on the Upper East Side,
for several years. Before pursuing work with children, Loretta was an actress/singer
for over 10 years. With a BFA from Suny Purchase in Theatre, she worked
in many Off Broadway shows, and performed regionally in many leading roles.
Her National Tour credit was the role of the widow in Zorba starring Anthony
Quinn. Loretta’s favorite role, by far, has been her longest running,
and that is of a married woman with wonderful husband and extraordinary
daughter. Loretta is thrilled to be working at Discovery with such a dedicated,
professional staff, and wonderful families.
