Robert Rivera - Gym & Karate
Robert
Rivera was born and raised in NYC. Since childhood, gymnastics has always
been a great interest of his. He was a gymnast in high school and for a
few years thereafter.
He completed 2 years of liberal arts studies at Hunter College where he
met a coach who inspired him to become a teacher. He has attended clinics
and seminars at the International Gymnastics Camp in Stroudsberg, PA where
he learned the bio-mechanics of men's and women's gymnastics and has had
the opportunity to study with pro-senior coaches throughout the years. Robert
has taught gymnastics and taekwondo at Discovery Programs for 12 years and
is USA Gymnastics and KAT safety-certified.
