Melanie Titus - Ballet Instructor
Born
in Wisconsin, Melanie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens
Point where she received a B.F.A. in musical theatre.
Since moving to NewYork, she has taught at Broadway Dance Center (jazz,
tap, ballet, hip-hop, triple threat) Steps on Broadway (jazz, hip-hop),
Brooklyn Music School (jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, reparatory), and Broadway
Babies where she has developed and continues to lead their dance program.
This summer Melanie was inspired by attending the Pulse Intensive Workshop
where she had the pleasure of dancing with judges from the hit show “So
You Think You Can Dance”. Melanie is a recent graduate from the Dance
Education Laboratory (DEL) at Harkness Dance Center (92nd Street Y). Melanie
is thrilled to be teaching here at Discovery Programs!
