The Spark! – July 2018

A Note From The Director
Dear Parents,
Summer is finally here! We are enjoying the first few weeks of camp and getting to know our new and old friends. Some children are only with us for a week or two and some spend the whole summer with us. It’s also fun to see our past toddler campers age up to gymnastics camp! My own daughter, Sabrina, usually spends a few weeks here in gymnastics camp and I feel lucky that we get a little extra time together.

Summer is also like a staff reunion here at Discovery because many of our past staff members come back to work in the camps. Some were part of our early childhood program and some have worked summer camp every year. It’s a wonderful feeling having a group of core staff that work well together. They know the ins and outs of our daily schedule, how we run our programs and our philosophy. The teachers are always happy to see their former students and reconnect with the families. They are an amazing team and I love that they are still like family even after they moved on to other jobs years ago. Check out our summer camp staff below.

Hope to see you this summer and if not, in the fall for classes!

Warm Wishes,

Katie Kheel
