Fun art classes for NYC kids
Children’s pictures books are the inspiration for this creative class. Stories and books play a vital role in the growth and development of children and they can be used to spark language and artistic development. Each week, the teacher will choose a different picture book to read and explore. Examples include Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and The Snowy Day. Children will paint, collage and mold as well as use sensory and classroom materials to animate and express what they see.
