Dear Parents,
Our Fall Semester ends tomorrow and it was a great one. See the highlights below.
I hope your children had fun and progressed in their skills and learning. Sometimes, as parents and teachers, we may not see the progress right away, but it often clicks in the right moments. In my two-year-old ballet class this semester, I wasn’t sure if they were grasping the routine that they were learning for the recital. As the recital approached, I prepared myself for anything that might happen, even the dancers freezing on stage. On the day of the show, I was thrilled to see that they knew the choreography and were able to perform wonderfully.
I’ve also been teaching quite a few gymnastics classes this semester, and at times, the students can struggle to connect the skills. Then, suddenly, they’re incorporating everything we’ve taught them and are able to achieve new skills. I love celebrating even the small achievements. I hope your children are feeling proud of what they have accomplished and are excited for the new semester.
Warm Wishes,
Katie Kheel
