We are so glad to be back on a full weekly schedule at Discovery! We missed seeing many of our students and are excited to immerse ourselves in the curriculum and skill progression again. I always love the Meet the Staff issue of The Spark. We have amazing staff members and it’s so great to highlight them personally. We have a few new staff members and many returning staff members. Enjoy reading their highlights below.
There are still spots open in a number of the baby and toddler classes and some spots are available in afternoon classes. Reach out if you are interested in adding anything. Our first K-Pop Demon Hunters Hip Hop pop up is coming up in November and it’s already filling up. I watched the movie this summer with my daughter after all the summer camp kids were singing the songs! Have a great fall and see you at Discovery.
Warm Wishes,
Katie Kheel

Mary, Gym Director and Gymnastics Coach
“Coach Marcus, Katie and I had the opportunity to attend USA Gymnastics Region 6 Congress. This conference was a 3-day event with seminars ranging from business to advance level gymnastics skill trainings. This conference is a wonderful time to get out of the gym and reconnect with ideas and learn new techniques to bring back to the gym. We enjoyed many seminars, connecting with other directors and coaches in the industry and attended the Region 6 banquet event.”

“I traveled to Spain, England and Japan during the summer and I’m looking forward to having a new school year with Discovery friends!”

Len, Gymnastics Coach
“Something unforgettable I did this past summer was travel to Puerto Rico! We stayed in an incredible Airbnb overlooking the lush breathtaking views of the mountains of El Yunque Rainforest, and Luquillo Beach in the distance. The scenery was absolutely stunning—peaceful, vibrant, and full of life. Even now, whenever I need to escape to my happy place, my mind drifts right back to that magical spot in Puerto Rico.”
Sean, Gymnastics Coach
“I am extremely passionate about gymnastics and dedicated to providing your children with the best possible learning experience. I hold in high esteem to be part of your child’s gymnastics journey and I’m looking forward to supporting the athletes as they work toward their goals. I’m excited to see what the season brings and can’t wait to help the athletes discover what they’re capable of.”
